So, who am I?
I’m Zeena, an ADHDer, and (at the risk of overusing labels) I'm a positive psychologist, accredited coach, speaker, author and mum who believes in the power of positivity to create sustainable change.
Known as 'The Positivity Doctor', with almost two decades of working with clients from all walks of life, from celebrities, sports professionals, and CEOs, to parents, teachers and students, I have a passion for helping all people and organisations thrive.
My Vision
To inspire people everywhere to broaden their lens, avoid negative judgements, and see the good in people and things around them; Creating kinder, happier places for everyone to learn, work and enjoy life, together building a sustainable, resilient and more positive world.
How did I get here?
It’s a very long story, but for brevity… Over the last 20 years, I have helped people and businesses overcome times of uncertainty through positive communication and clear, tangible goals. I have played many roles throughout my career, including several years as an international fashion model, actor, marketer, communications professional, perinatal educator, and positive psychologist, which has offered me an unparalleled perspective on human perception, both its potential and limitations.
I've picked up some qualifications and accreditations along the way, such as an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, HEDip in Antenatal Education, MA in Acting, certificates in Mindfulness, Mental Health First Aid – Youth, Breathworks, NLP, Autism Awareness, Leadership Communication with Impact from INSEAD. I hold a Senior Practitioner accreditation with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), and am midway through a Doctorate, but these are just more labels.
As a mum to two amazing neurodivergent boys and an ADHD'er myself, I am a huge advocate of sustainable wellbeing, celebrating difference and building on strengths. More than anything, I try to walk the talk, no matter how challenging at times. To be a better person than I was yesterday. To be of service and help others unscramble their brains and challenge them to see things differently. When I am not writing or speaking, I work with individuals, educators, and parents to live their best selves so they can lead by example for children and adolescents. I also work with senior leaders and organisations to create balanced, compassionate workplaces where everyone feels valued and heard. This simple approach is not just creating happier environments, but these individuals and organisations are flourishing, with increased productivity, attainment, meaning and purpose.
Where can you find me?
I am incredibly fortunate and grateful to spend my time working with the most amazing individuals, businesses and educational establishments to facilitate wellbeing, growth, and change through applied positive psychology.
